~Cukeasaurus and I ordered a scanner the other day and we are expecting arrival either today or tomorrow. I am so excited because I'll finally get to work on something awesome that I have been planning for months. I had a scanner at my parents' house, but it was hooked up to the computer downstairs so it was always a pain to have to scan things down there, risk them looking at my pictures or whatever I'm scanning, send it to my computer, and then delete the original file that ended up on their computer.

I have a big worrisome test tomorrow and a paper due on Friday... and I'm a bit behind. I have hardly studied for my test and I have not started my paper at all.

I also rented a bunch of movies and have only watched one (Dan in Real Life). I'm not writing a review on it, but I plan on writing reviews in future journals. Speaking of writing, I've been doing a lot of that lately!

I also finished Diary by Chuck Palahniuk. It's the fifth or sixth novel by him that I have read and if you've spoken to me recently, you know that I am sinking further and further away from his "fandom." I almost hate him as a writer now because his books are just gimmicks to get you to buy/read... It's obnoxious that everything he writes is the same thing. Sure the words are different (sort of), but it sounds the same. He also writes like a high schooler. I loved Fight Club... I loved it a lot (then again, I read it in high school) and I've been trying to find that quality in the rest of his novels and he falls very short of reaching that awesomeness... I wonder if maybe that's why he sucks as a writer... he's trying to make every novel Fight Club. This makes sense to me.

Anyway, I have a lab to run to and lab partners to annoy. I shall be back later... hopefully with a scanner and some new stuff to show.
